And you know what, she ‘s coming at us like only she could — saying and singing “What the Hell?” It’s a great new track that seems to be talking about a relationship coming to an end — and Avril made her live debut of the song on Dick Clark’s annual New Year’s Eve special. It definitely reminds us of why we first loved this edgy girl and her rockin’ attitude — her music is so infectious. It’s super-catchy and just makes you want to jump around. About her new release Avril told MTV NEWS, “This album is different…I’m older now, so I think that comes across in my music. It’s not as pop-rock, and it’s a little more mellow and it’s deep.” But she adds the “first single,” What the Hell, ” is very ‘up ‘ and pop-rock.” But don’t expect the entire album to be like this track.
